Draft. This page describes how the store is built to work. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer, and no real payment has gone through it yet — see the store's own to-do notes. Treat it as an accurate description of intent, not a finished legal document.
What you're buying
Every item in the store is cosmetic or a developer-support pack — a skin, a badge, or a one-time show of support. Nothing in the store affects gameplay: no gold, no mana, no faster building, no shortcut past the game's own tactics. See how it plays for what that tactics layer looks like.
Items are digital and one-time. There's no subscription, no recurring charge, and nothing that expires.
How payment works
Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe. ImpKeep never sees or stores your card details — Stripe's own hosted payment page does. After payment, Stripe tells our server the purchase went through, and that's the only thing that unlocks an item; nothing in your browser can grant it to you on its own.
What identifies your purchase
There's no account or login. A random id is generated in your
browser the first time you visit and stored locally
(localStorage), and that id is what your purchase gets
attached to. It's shared between this site and the game itself, so
something bought here shows up in-game automatically.
Clearing your browser's site data or switching browsers/devices generates a new id and disconnects you from past purchases. If that happens, get in touch with your payment confirmation and we'll sort it out manually.
Refunds
If something you bought doesn't work, wasn't applied, or you changed your mind shortly after buying, contact us with your payment confirmation (Stripe emails you a receipt). Refunds are handled case by case, issued back through Stripe to your original payment method, and revoke the item.
Chargebacks filed directly with your bank instead of contacting us first also revoke the item — we'd rather sort it out directly, but either way the entitlement is removed once Stripe confirms the reversal.
